How much does it cost ?

If a Blue Badge Guide is a qualified expert on his region, accredited by a local Tourist Authority,  how much will it cost to hire his, or her, services for a day?

Detailed below are the tariffs recommended by HETGA,  the

HEART OF ENGLAND TOURIST GUIDES ASSOCIATION

For the 2013 Season:-

For a full day - £215;   for 1/2 a day - £140;  for 1 or 1 1/2 hours - £110;   Foreign language supplement, if guiding in another language than English - £30.

It should be remembered that the amounts quoted are no more than suggestions; the Association does not set prices.    All Members of the Association are individual & self-employed, so they may possibly wish to charge a different amount for their services.  Clients, while anticipating some such level of fees as indicated above, are advised to ask the Guide of their choice for a quotation.

Please note that reservations cancelled shortly before the date may attract a cancellation fee.

All HETGA guides are covered by Public Liability Insurance.
